Keep P2 on One Finished Story, Not a P6 Paper

A centre will happily seat a P2 child in a PSLE writing hour. The paper on the desk is still a P6 object.
A P6 paper is the wrong object for P2
Keep P2 on one finished story, not a P6 paper. SEAB's 0001 format belongs to PSLE. A P2 hour that starts a full Paper 1 is the wrong artefact.
Read PSLE English 0001 as a later exam, not a P2 worksheet.
The P2 hour ends when one story is finished

The child tells or writes a beginning, one problem, and an ending the parent can retell. iWorld Primary English can host later picture and sentence work. Confirm live terms.
iWorld Learning Primary English is a primary-stage course. It is not a named PSLE class for P2. Confirm live terms.
Leave if the worksheet is a P6 theme pack
Leave if the first homework is a PSLE theme list, a 36-mark continuous-writing sheet, or a situational-writing email the child cannot send. Stay if the hour ends with one finished P2 story.
Ask to see last week’s homework before you pay. A theme list is not a story. A finished P2 story has a start the child can say, one problem, and an ending you can retell in one breath.
If the centre cannot show a finished P2 story from last week, do not book. A promise that “we also do junior PSLE” is still a P6 object. Ask for the age on last week’s worksheet, not a speech about being ahead. If the worksheet says Primary 6 or PSLE, leave with the child.
This is not the P5 paper-shape page
No. That page names the P5 paper shape. Tonight only refuses a PSLE class for P2.
Keep the P5 change on Primary 5 composition vs Primary 4.
FAQ
A future PSLE year is not a reason to sit P6 work now.
If I start PSLE writing in P2, will my child be ahead?
No. An unfinished P6 paper is not a lead. Finish one P2 story first.
Is iWorld Primary English a PSLE class?
No. It is a primary-stage English course. Confirm live terms. It does not sit a P6 paper with a P2 child.
