Write the circled word into homework

Find one teacher-circled word. Write one homework sentence that uses it in the same sense. Do not swap in a harder synonym.

1. Open last marked script or the current homework book.
2. Find one circled or underlined word.
3. Write one sentence in tonight's homework that uses that sense.
4. Stop. Do not open a new vocabulary book.

If the circled word was refuse as reject, do not write refuse as rubbish. Same sense, or the mark repeats.

If last week's script circled reluctant, tonight's homework can say the speaker was reluctant to join. A new list that adds hesitant and unwilling still leaves reluctant unused.

Keep the word or drop the list

Keep if the sentence matches the marked sense. Drop new lists for a fortnight if two weeks of lists still leave the circled word unused.
